My Story
I had an opportunity to spend a year in Mexico City volunteering at a home for girls being rescued out of sex trafficking. Through this experience and the adoption of my sister Rebekah, my heart has grown to see justice and healing take place among the hurting and broken women in our society. I myself am a victim of sexual abuse and I allowed that abuse to define much of my life. I want to be not only an inspiration, but a voice for the girls and women who have been victimized. I want to bring a message of hope and healing. Everyone has a story. No matter how small their story might be in comparison to others, they are worth our time and love. Girls need to know their worth and value in a society that so often devalues them.
Rebekah’s Story
Rebekah, is a young courageous survivor who was trafficked by her father at age 15. Rebekah is now striving to bring awareness about sex trafficking in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Not only does she have a passion to see justice take place amongst the leaders of these horrific crimes, but she desires to see girls experience freedom and healing from their past.
